Roux returns to Portland October 9-11 for a weekend of dinners, brunches, parties, panels and food-centric experiences with women at the helm.

The Return of our Secret Sauce Panel

One of the highlights of this year’s Roux lineup is Secret Sauce, a panel presented by Xcelerate Women and Prosper Portland on Sunday, October 11, from 3–6 PM at CASCADA Thermal Springs + Hotel.

This year’s conversation focuses on placemaking and the role that physical spaces, from cafes and shops to cities and regions, play in building community and growing businesses. The panel will explore how business owners think about place, when expansion makes sense, and how to grow sustainably without losing the connections that made a business successful in the first place.

Featuring:

  • Madilyn Gibbons, Founder & CEO of Pipsqueak Bagels
  • Katelyn Williams, Founder & Recipe Creator of Kate’s Ice Cream
  • Keia Booker, Owner & Roaster at Keia & Martyn’s Coffee
  • Lois Cho, CEO & Co-Founder of Cho Wines
  • Su Embree, Founder & CEO of Soos, moderator
