In 2023, 20% of the entrepreneurs we supported proudly identified as Black women, leading thriving businesses across various sectors including Food/Beverage, Consumer Products, Professional Services, Retail, Media, Hospitality, Cannabis, Health & Wellness, Beauty, and the Trades. This aligns with the broader trend where Black women now own 21% of women-owned businesses nationally and are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs, starting new ventures at an unprecedented rate. Additionally, they constitute 36% of all Black employers. This is what changing the face of success in business looks like.
