• Business Advising admin/match fees: $49 for 3 hours of expert coaching
• Peer Mentorship group fees: $499 for 3 months of facilitated peer mentorship (total 10 hours)

Membership is the pathway to access Xcelerate programs like Business Advising, Peer Mentorship, Event discounts, our Member Portal/Business Directory, Newsletter, and curated Slack channel experience.

• Exception: Membership is NOT required to access our Digital Marketing coaching program if your business is registered in the City of Portland. 
• Exception: Membership is NOT required to attend Events, which are open to everyone, regardless of gender, business, or growth stage.

• Not necessarily. Xcelerate’s Business Advising and Peer Mentorship services are designed for women with a product or service that has been on the market for at least one year and is already generating/raising revenue, or otherwise demonstrating traction. If your business is pre-revenue or early-stage (less than one year old), you will not qualify for these specific services. 
• Exception: Our Digital Marketing coaching program is available to early-stage/pre-revenue businesses if your business is registered in the City of Portland. 
• Waitlist: We have the capacity to match about 25 new and returning business owners per month with coaching services. Based on demand, new members  may occasionally need to wait a few weeks before joining. We will prioritize a continuity of service for owners who are actively working with their coaches. 

• Xcelerate’s Business Advising and Peer Mentorship services are designed specifically for women with a product or service that’s been on the market for at least one year and is already generating/raising revenue or otherwise demonstrating traction
• These programs are heavily subsidized by grant funding, and we are required to adhere to the parameters of those grants, which define eligible growth stage, geography, and other qualifying factors

Yes, Xcelerate’s program fees will increase beginning March 1, 2026.

• Business Advising fees are increasing from $35 to $49
• Peer Mentorship fees are increasing from $375 to $499
• Membership is not needed to attend Events.

• We have not increased our fees since 2022, when the Business Advising admin fee increased from $25 to $35.
• Over the last three years, we have more than doubled the depth and breadth of our Business Advising roster to 52 coaches, including bilingual/bicultural coaches in every category, who provide subject-matter expertise and lived entrepreneurial experience
• Xcelerate coaches (98% are women/nonbinary) are paid for their time, creating a circular economy of women supporting women and a model for valuing women’s time and expertise
• Generous grants from Prosper Portland, Business Oregon, and the Oregon Community Foundation significantly subsidize our services and ensure that Xcelerate programs are accessible and affordable for all

• Business Advising fees may be waived on request if they present a financial hardship based on Household Income (HHI)

Yes. Members can log into the Member Portal to cancel their membership anytime. You can also put your membership on “pause.” Note you must have an active membership to receive Business Advising and Peer Mentorship services.
